You May Ask — How Do I Get Started?
Do you have an artistic talent that you have been cultivating, or do you have a yearning for God to utilize you in unorthodox ways? Yes to either is a great start…and even the secondary sentence, No, but I’m open to His leading me in a new direction or expression, is a positive and powerful place to start.
John 1:11-12 states, “He came to His own and those who were His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God…”
The same pattern can be seen through the powerful activation of artistic gifts — think about this art-centered paraphrase: He came to those artists who should have eagerly released their talent on behalf of reaching the lost and releasing His glory — and they did not receive Him. But to those who were open to His ideas and plans, His supernatural empowering of whatever skill level they possessed — to them He gave the right to become children whose artistic DNA was blessed and multiplied…
He may be calling you. Right now. I encourage you to pray and seek His face regarding artistic/dramatic/musical manifestation being released through you. Like the fishes and loaves, He will bless and multiply what you hold up before Him, and offer for His purposes.
